Upload a project using IPS Console

IPS console provides the facility to upload a built project from your local file system to IPS environment. At the upload phase, console scans the archive and extracts required metadata like project name, version etc to populate in its database. To upload an project archive from the console,

  • Go to the Projects perspective and click add button of the top right corner

  • Select the project archive from your file system.

  • Select the groups that should be given the access to use this project. By doing so, only the members of the selected groups can view/ use this project

  • Clicking Next will direct you to the project property configuration page. Configuring project properties is covered in a separate article

  • Once the project properties are configured, click next. Now your project has successfully uploaded and configured in IPS. You can click Done to finish the process or click Deploy to deploy the project in an ESB cluster of IPS. Comprehensive guide about project deployment is provided in a separate article
