(These are the information of a foreign trading station corresponds to the Partner Configuration that we saw on our local trading station page in the previous section)

image::partner-add.png[align="center"]In order to add a trading partner you need to fill-in the above form, for a quick start, lets use a globally available AS2Gateway hosted partner configuration, so that you can send a message and verify your setup. If you already have a partner configuration you could use that instead of the provided demo partner configuration.
Specify a name for the trading partner, this is just a textual identifier for you to easily distinguish this partner from others in the list view and wont be used in any AS2 message communication properties. (for a demo partner use "Demo Partner" without double quotes)
Specify the AS2 Identifier of the partner, this has to be obtained from the partner (for a demo partner use "demotrading" without the double quotes)
Specify a description mainly describe the partner for identification purposes within the application
Specify the partner URL which is used to send messages to this partner (in other wards the partner is listening on this URL for messages)
Specify the Async Receipt URL, which is the URL to which the asynchronous MDN messages will be sent, if the partner requests an asynchronous MDN.
Upload the certificate of the partner used to encrypt messages (if encryption is enabled for outgoing messages), or select it from the certificate store (by clicking on the "Certificate Store" button)
Click on the "Add Partner" button to add the partner into the system.
