Registering an Account
To register for an account, select the "SignUp" link from the Home Page of the AS2Gateway. You may switch the locale of the user interface first by selecting your preferred locale from the available locales in the dropdown at the top right hand corner of the window.
Setting up an Organization
An organization will be linked to a unique domain name (e.g. @example.com) and contain multiple user accounts within this domain. The initial user creating the organization account will be required to agree to the Terms of Use for this service on behalf of the organization, and will assume the role of the Administrator for the organization within the AS2Gateway.
An organization will be setup by following the organization setup wizard as shown below. The first step requests information about the organization.
First specify the organization domain name. This must be globally unique within the AS2Gateway - and hence, the use of your web domain is recommended. You must also specify an organization level email address where an organization activation link will be emailed by us. Please specify the mailing address and country for your organization as well.
Setting up details of the Organization Administrator
A username within the AS2Gateway is a simple string and not an email address. Once you register your organization, you will receive a custom login URL specific to your organization which you may bookmark. At this custom sign-in page, you only need to specify the user name such as 'example1admin', but you could also specify the email address such as 'james@adroitlogic.com'. However, if you use the main sign-in page of the AS2Gateway, you will always need specify your email address such as 'james@adroitlogic.com' to login, as your username may not be unique within the global user space across multiple organizations.
Agreement to the Terms of Use and Account Activation
In the final step, you will need to read and agree to the Terms of Service by clicking the "I have read and agree to the above Terms of Use" checkbox, to complete the organization registration process. This will trigger an activation email to the organization email address provided in the first step. Check your organization email account, and click the activation link to activate your account.
Sign In
Once an account is activated, your organization will be assigned a unique sign-in URL of the form shown below - which you could bookmark. To login at this organization specific sign-in URL, you could just specify the short username (e.g. 'example1admin') and the password you specified as that of the administrator. You may also specify the email address (e.g. james@adroitlogic.com) of the user as the username.
To login via the main sign-in page, specify the Email address (e.g. james@adroitlogic.com) and your password.
