The AS2Gateway simplifies the usage of X.509 certificates by using sensible defaults - especially when setting up trading stations. However in typical enterprise scenarios, there maybe requirements for advanced certificate management. The 'Certificate Store' component of the Dashboard and the 'Quick Access' menu takes you to the advanced certificate management interface shown below.

The Certificate Store is a user interface over the contents of the raw keystore maintained for the organization by the AS2Gateway as a Java keystore (JKS) file. Each entry describes a certificate or private key maintained in the keystore. The mouse over text for the Common Name column shows the other key attributes of the certificate or private key entries - such as CN, OU, O, L, ST, C etc. The 'Belongs To' column specifies the trading partner or trading station which uses the entry. The Export option will export each entry as PEM or DER encoded files, while the Assign button can assign the entry against a trading station or trading partner.

The Import option allows new entries to be imported into the keystore from an uploaded file in the PEM or DER format. The Generate option generates a new keystore with a private key and certificate. The Synchronize option will load the contents of the keystore file by reading the raw keystore.
