Deleting a Node Group

In order to delete a node group that is currently not associated with any clusters,

  • Go to the Infrastructure perspective.

  • Click on Node Groups.

  • Click Delete button against the desired node group.

IPS will ask for confirmation, and will attempt to delete the node group if you select Yes.

If IPS finds that any clusters are currently associated with the node group, an error will be displayed and the operation would be cancelled. Otherwise the deletion should succeed, and the node group would be removed from the list.

The default node group all cannot be deleted, as it is system-defined.
